Who are these guys?

POP ROX

Cocktail Johnny is a cover band consisting of four members.  Combined, we have way too many years of playing in previous original bands and other cover band projects in and around Cleveland.  We are entertaining, tight, and professional.  We have a groovy sound, and would love an opportunity to entertain your crowd this year.  CJ covers everything from Green Day to the Beatles.  In fact, we know so many tunes; we have the ability to really zero in on a certain crowd, and their favorites, young and old.

Walter Cierniak "The Musical Commando"

Born in Wroclaw Poland and trained in classical music, Walter was selected by the Government to be a musician at a young age. He was trained as a classical musician on the Government's dime, and learned to play the piano, accordian, guitar, and bass. Along with Steve, Walter helps set the rhythym of the band. Often seen with a bass guitar on his back, an accordian on his front, and playing the keyboards, hence the name "The Musical Commando." Walter has played in the Polish Falcons, a polka band, as well as numerous other rock bands.

Andy Ardo

Andy started his rock and roll career in grade school, playing with Psychotic Jam (with Steve and Charlie Garriga of CIV fame) and then Cynic. He went on to form Years Waiting with Rob (later joined by Steve) then went on to play with Gypsy Boots, Third Eye, and Crawl Space before landing with Cocktail Johnny. Andy is mostly found playing lead guitar on a strat and a Les Paul, giving the clasic rock hits an authentic feel. When called upon, he also picks up the Fender-P bass guitar.

After OSU, he joined Years Waiting with Rob and Andy. Steve also did a brief stint with the venerable music "project" known as Larry's Tits (with Johnny Alternative) from 2000-2005.
